A day in our Atelier
A typical day in our Atelier goes as follows. We brew a pot of coffee, put on a nice tune, have a chat and start putting samples of yesterday’s production roast on the table. We cup them to confirm the quality and detect potential flaws. We start roasting coffee orders in small batches and do the daily email work. Often times we’ll have someone coming in for a coffee tasting (espresso, filter or actual cuppings). We might finish the day with a barista training for a customer’s team. It’s a lively, ambient and homely vibe. There’s no better place to work for us.
Our Atelier was designed to reflect our values as a company. The local designers and craftsmen upcycled as many old materials as possible. Much of the decoration comes straight from the Place du Jeu de Balle, Brussels daily and quite massive flea market. The design vision came together in a beautifully, artisanal space that we are proud to call our Atelier.
