The Producer
Finca Filadelfia is a family farm that lies high up in the Siberia Ceibas Natural Park in Northern Huila, close to the region capital of Neiva. We were introduced to Carlos Motta via Yonatan from Cuatro Vientos, our long-term partner in Huila. Inspired by the success of his brother-in-law's café in Rivera (Cafe y Arte), Carlos Motta decided to switch careers from mechanics to coffee in 2022. In Finca Filadelfia he found a 30 year old farm that enjoyed ideal conditions for specialty coffee production.
Finca Filadelfia lies at 1800 masl and enjoys a cool and cloudy climate, ideal for slow cherry development. The farm’s soil has a rich black top layer with sandy subsoil beneath. The finca is surrounded by a major river that serves as a vital water source for the town of Rivera. Carlos grows Castillo, Colombia, San Bernardo and Gesha. The views from Finca are stunning and Carlos has been building accommodations to draw visitors to the farm. When we first cupped Carlos his coffee in 2024 in Neiva, we loved its upfront orange sweetness, mild acidity and milk chocolate finish. Carlos's coffee is a staple on our Moon Safari series as it perfectly encapsulates the series profile.
The Lot
This lot of Red & Yellow Colombia was hand picked on the steep slopes of the finca. Upon arrival at the beneficio, the cherries are placed in bags for 12 hours for a short fermentation. The cherry is depulped, oxidized and then washed in open tanks. The beans are dried on African beds inside marquesinas, a process that takes 2-3 weeks due to the cold weather and limited sunlight. Finally, the coffee is meticulously hand-sorted again. This traditional, careful processing contributes to a clean, sweet cup.

Delivery
We ship Monday to Friday with DHL/Bpost. Orders received before 8AM will generally ship that same day. Exceptions can occur.
Freshness
We roast 2-3 days per week. The coffee we ship is usually roasted no longer than a week ago, but can be up to 2 weeks maximum. We recommend to rest our coffees as they gain more intensity and complexity 2-3 weeks after roasting.
Ground coffee
After roasting we pack and seal our coffee bags immediately. When you order ground coffee, be aware that the bag will be opened, so our team can grind your coffee.

Subscription changes
If you want to change or cancel your subscription, we kindly ask you to do that online. Login to your account, go to the "Account" tab, and click "Manage Subscription".

How do I start?
Simple. Login to your account, go to any of our coffees, select the number of bags & grind size. Click “Subscribe” (instead of “one off purchase”) and add to your cart. Repeat this for every coffee you wish to add to your subscription. You can even add some Oatly. Ready? Check out your cart. You’ll get the order shipped to your door every 30 days.
Manage your subscription
Login to your account and navigate to Account > Manage Subscriptions.
- Cancel or skip (part of) your subscription : select one of the products in your subscription. Scroll down and click Cancel/Skip. Repeat this for each subscription product if you want to skip/cancel your entire subscription.
- Add an extra bag : click “Add a product”. Select the coffee you want to add. Now choose if you want to receive the extra product every month or just once. Select the size (KG/250G) and grind size and click “Add a product”.
- Swap a bag (one off) : select the product in your subscription that you want to swap for a month. Scroll down and click “Swap Product”
Availability
We strive to always have all of our series stocked. If exceptionally a coffee is not available at the time of your subscription renewal, we will send you the closest alternative.
Pricing
When you start a subscription, your coffee price is locked in. We revise prices once a year in November. You will receive a notification if the price of the coffees you subscribed to changes.
Invoice
You can download a PDF invoice for each recurrence of your subscription. Login to your account and navigate to your Account Page.
