Finca El Rejo

Young producer Alexander Silva grows clean, balanced coffees at high altitude on his family’s Finca El Rejo in northern Peru.

Alexander Silva is a young producer from Callayuc, Cajamarca, who learned coffee farming from his parents. We first connected with Alexander through our export partner Raw Material. Alexanders farm, Finca El Rejo, sits at 2100 masl, where the cooler temperatures and slower cherry maturation bring clarity and balance to the cup. Alexander uses a clean washed process with careful fermentation and slow drying to preserve the coffee’s subtle character. The result is an easy-drinking and well-structured cup with notes of melon, chamomile and red apple.

FAQ

When will my order be shipped?

We ship every weekday with DHL Parcel (EU) and DHL Express (worldwide). Orders received before 7AM ship the same day. The shipping time varies per destination.

Can I get an invoice?

If you're VAT liable, please fill out your VAT number on your cart page before checking out (below the order note box). Other company information can be filled out during checkout under the Billing Address.

Your order confirmation email will contain a link to a PDF invoice. Can't find it or forgot to add your VAT number? Email us at hello@wideawake.coffee.

How fresh is the coffee I receive?

The coffee we ship is usually roasted no longer than a week ago, but can be up to 2 weeks maximum. We recommend to rest our coffees 2-4 weeks after roasting as they gain more intensity and complexity.

How to change or cancel my subscription?

To change or cancel your subscription, login to your account, go to the Account tab and choose Manage Subscription

What to know when ordering ground coffee?

After roasting we pack and seal our coffee bags immediately. When you order ground coffee, be aware that the bag will be opened, so our team can grind your coffee. Pay attention when choosing your grind size as we do not accept returns for wrong grind size selection.
