Rutas del Inca Coop

Produced by a young cooperative, high in the Querocoto mountains in the district of Cajamarca.

This single origin comes from the Rutas del Inca Coop. Their farmers grow coffee surrounded by steep mountain ranges, creating a cool, stable climate that is ideal for slow ripening and even drying. The cooperative has grown steadily since its founding in 2013 and is known for its strong focus on quality and organic production. The farmers grow traditional varieties such as Caturra, Typica, Catimor and Bourbon Catuai, all processed as washed lots. The result is a balanced and comforting cup profile: sweet with faint acidity, with flavours of chocolate biscuit, sugarcane and apple.

Can I get an invoice?

If you're VAT liable, please fill out your VAT number on your cart page before checking out (below the order note box). Other company information can be filled out during checkout under the Billing Address.

Your order confirmation email will contain a link to a PDF invoice. Can't find it or forgot to add your VAT number? Email us at hello@wideawake.coffee.

How fresh is the coffee I receive?

The coffee we ship is usually roasted no longer than a week ago, but can be up to 2 weeks maximum. We recommend to rest our coffees 2-4 weeks after roasting as they gain more intensity and complexity.

What to know about subscriptions?

Our subscriptions are flexible. You can change or cancel at any time. Log into your account, go to the Account tab and choose Manage my subscription

Throughout the year, we release different microlots on our series. Your subscription price will automatically adapt to the new release. As a subscriber you always benefit from a 5% discount.

What to know when ordering ground coffee?

After roasting we pack and seal our coffee bags immediately. When you order ground coffee, be aware that the bag will be opened, so our team can grind your coffee. Pay attention when choosing your grind size as we do not accept returns for wrong grind size selection.
