Banko Gotiti

Banko Gotiti is a renowned washing station in Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia, managed by Ranger.

The station serves and processes cherry for 780 smallholder farmers. Farms in the area sit between 1950 and 2300 metres. The high elevation and cool climate slow cherry development, giving greater sweetness and complexity. The cherries are hand-picked and meticulously sorted before being washed, fermented, and dried on raised beds. This careful process highlights the floral and stone-fruit profile for which the region is famous. The result is a bright, tealike cup with notes of grapefruit, peach nectar, and jasmine.

Can I get an invoice?

If you're VAT liable, please fill out your VAT number on your cart page before checking out (below the order note box). Other company information can be filled out during checkout under the Billing Address.

Your order confirmation email will contain a link to a PDF invoice. Can't find it or forgot to add your VAT number? Email us at hello@wideawake.coffee.

How fresh is the coffee I receive?

The coffee we ship is usually roasted no longer than a week ago, but can be up to 2 weeks maximum. We recommend to rest our coffees 2-4 weeks after roasting as they gain more intensity and complexity.

What to know about subscriptions?

Our subscriptions are flexible. You can change or cancel at any time. Log into your account, go to the Account tab and choose Manage my subscription

Throughout the year, we release different microlots on our series. Your subscription price will automatically adapt to the new release. As a subscriber you always benefit from a 5% discount.

What to know when ordering ground coffee?

After roasting we pack and seal our coffee bags immediately. When you order ground coffee, be aware that the bag will be opened, so our team can grind your coffee. Pay attention when choosing your grind size as we do not accept returns for wrong grind size selection.
